Center for Disease Control Director Robert Redfield said in a Buck Institute webinar that suicides and drug overdoses have surpassed the death rate for COVID-19 among high school students. Redfield argued that lock downs and lack of public schooling constituted a disproportionally negative impact on young peoples’ mental health.

Attorney General Ashley Moody and her predecessor, Pam Bondi, both endorsed Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister for reelection.

Boswell served 25 years with HCSO, but was forced out of his position after disciplinary action dating back to 2014 triggered a demotion, reduction in pay, suspensions and, ultimately, his job.   Several allegations against him were sustained, including noncompliance with a direct order of a superior, conduct unbecoming an officer and discourtesy.

We are seeing increased in Hillsborough County too.  I just finished up the DEN report for the state last week, and the numbers are showing increasing EMS response to overdose.  Hillsborough EMS/FR response across all first responder agencies:  first 6 months of 2019 - 732, first 6 months of 2020 - 1290.  

In Pasco County, calls for help are lighting up 911 switchboards. Deputies say between March and July of 2019, there were 121 calls for an overdose. This year, there were 570.

Last year, between March and June, there were 51 deaths. This year, there were 97.

The 2015 U.S. Transgender Survey claims that 11% of female respondents regret surgery enough to change back to their original sex. Transgender men had a reversion rate of 4%. But considering that transgender surgery can range from $7,000 to well over $50,000 depending on the sex and extent, is that a surprise? There are those who consider themselves transgender but do or do not have surgery, just as there or those that may have some treatment (e.g. hormones or partial surgery) but not complete the process or be left in limbo.

The Mickey Mouse test kits being sent out to hospitals, at best, tell analysts you have some viral DNA in your cells. Which most of us do, most of the time. It may tell you the viral sequence is related to a specific type of virus – say the huge family of coronavirus. But that’s all. The idea these kits can isolate a specific virus like COVID-19 is nonsense.

1. What is the cited evidence that children spread the virus, especially documentation for Hillsborough County where there have been ZERO deaths of anyone ages 24 and under? 
2. If face masks are mandatory, what is the protocol for: (additional research on masks)
   1. ​​​​​​Special needs, asthmatic and other children who cannot or should not wear? 
   2. Bullying of these students who cannot wear a mask for physical or medical reasons?
   3. Teachers at each grade level for the procedures and processes to monitor mask wearing?
