INFORMED VOTERS MAKE BETTER CHOICES:
I think we all agree we want the best representation for our community, and as we head to the polls, it is essential that we evaluate all candidates by analyzing their actions rather than their ‘words’. Being an informed voter means looking beyond campaign advertisements and promises to see the facts for ourselves.
Many voters feel pressured to choose between candidates who fall short of their standards. It is important to remember that you are not required to vote in every candidate race. Your ballot remains fully valid even if you choose not to vote for either candidate.

For my 2026 pro-life voter guide, I am recommending Byron Donalds, Paul Renner, and Jay Collins, as each of these candidates has demonstrated a strong commitment to the pro-life cause and possesses the experience necessary for a successful general election campaign. COMPARISON OF GOVERNOR RACE CANDIDATES. I believe Byron Donalds' strong endorsements make him the frontrunner by far, all three of the recommended candidates meet my criteria for being pro-life, qualified, and electable. Just because a candidate wants to close all abortion clinics doesn't make him qualified to be Governor. In addition, where was he during the amendment 4 debates and working to help us prevent the abortion amendment from passing? Anyone who is 'so pro-life' had an opportunity to be heard during that campaign!!
Based on the public record I was able to retrieve, there are three core, well-substantiated clusters of statements in which Fishback either explicitly says he would shoot someone or endorses shooting a hypothetical attacker. The strongest and most verifiable cluster came on February 10, 2026, after he claimed someone had tried to burn down his home: in the text accompanying his official post, he wrote, “We will shoot you dead,” and in the associated video he said, in substance, “We’re going to shoot you with an AR-15” if someone attacked campaign staff or volunteers.
This is what I heard on the radio A second cluster came after Florida “teen takeover” incidents, when he said his team would show up with “a dozen AR-15s” if another event occurred. A third came in a campaign gun-rights clip in which he answered a hypothetical question about an angry would-be attacker by saying he supports the right to buy a gun immediately and “shoot him dead.” These statements are supported primarily by Fishback’s own X, Instagram, and campaign-linked Facebook posts, reinforced by local-news and profile reporting. While he is currently presenting himself as a non-partisan candidate at various community and Republican meetings, public records indicate he has maintained a long-term Democratic affiliation since at least 2008. I encourage voters to review his official endorsements at neilmanimala.com and his social media presence at facebook.com/VoteManimala to see the full context of his political history and support base. Furthermore, it is concerning to see campaign advertisements appearing in church bulletins under the guise of promoting his profession. Using religious publications for partisan political promotion is highly unethical and raises serious questions about his integrity.

Would a conservative be listed among these endorsements? Sara Peacock - was a registered Democrat until early 2025. Given the stark differences between the parties, it is hard to believe that someone who stayed a Democrat through the Biden administration and party platform evolution genuinely holds conservative values. (Changing party affiliation to NPA is common when a person decides to run for Judge.) Given that her mother is Judge Emily Peacock, would any sitting judge or practicing lawyer appearing in her court realistically risk speaking negatively of Sara or doubting her conservative alignment? |

On a personal note, my background in mental health counseling has given me a deep perspective on this: it is incredibly difficult for someone in an abusive situation to ever come forward. By the time they find the courage to involve the police and seek help, the situation has often been escalating for a long time - often reaching a point more severe than she can even put into words, burdened by pain and guilt.

On the question of who a bigger threat to conservative Republicans is, my answer is Fentrice Driskell. The reason is not that Rayner is moderate, she is not. The reason is that Driskell is better positioned to convert a Senate seat into durable legislative influence. She is already a recognized caucus leader, has a much stronger finance machine, holds endorsements from labor and major interest groups, and can plausibly bridge establishment Democrats, labor, environmental groups, education advocates, and some business-adjacent actors like realtors. In a Republican-dominated legislature, that sort of coalition-builder is the more operationally dangerous opponent. |
