Nov 3 2019- in Senate- If passed, it would have increased funding for pro-abortion organizations, such as the U.N. Population Fund, which supports China’s authoritarian policies of forced abortions and sterilizations. Furthermore, adding this poison pill amendment to the funding bill was a clear violation of the budget agreement reached between Republicans and Democrats in August.
