2024 Abortion Petition

DO NOT SIGN THE LIMIT GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE WITH ABORTION

There are two ways to stop this amendment 1) Educate voters on the truth &   2) Identify illegal petition activities.  

Petition Summary:  No law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient's health, as determined by the patient's healthcare provider. This amendment does not change the Legislature's constitutional authority to require notification to a parent or guardian before a minor has an abortion.

THE TRUTH: 

1. The absence of a specific time frame or explicit month reference means that abortion can be performed up until the moment of birth.
2. What is a patient’s health? Feeling stressed over being pregnant, feeling uncomfortable when pregnant, getting a cold, stubbing a toe...
3. Removes parental consent. And notifications are sketchy at best… I called and the line was busy.
4. Healthcare provider is not a medical doctor.  Dentist, health insurance administrator, chiropractor….
5. No minimum age… Removes parental consent required for teens.

An extremely grave initiative is underway in Florida that seeks to erase pro-life protections by banning government regulation of abortion in our state constitution. A network of abortion activists is working to gather petition signatures to have a pro-abortion constitutional amendment, titled Amendment to Limit Government Interference with Abortion, placed on the statewide ballot for the November 2024 election. In order to do so, they need nearly 900,000 signatures and are working right now in communities across Florida to collect them.
