In some ways, lawmakers' finances look a lot like those of many Americans. They include diverse portfolios of stocks, bonds, mutual funds and real estate. They have bank accounts, credit cards and mortgages. The difference: Politicians generally have more money, must make their investments public and routinely have access to nonpublic information.

2023 Pittman- Heartbeat Bill

Voting Sequence for House on Pregnancy and Support Bill

It is unfortunate to note that certain Republicans, including House members Karen Gonzalez-Pittman voted against and Tracy Koster did not vote on this crucial bill. It is puzzling and disheartening to see a self-proclaimed Christian and Republican vote against a bill that aims to safeguard the innocent lives of babies. There is no valid reason or excuse for such a decision.

"That is what Catholics are called to: to be unconditionally pro-life. There is no ambiguity in the words of Peter's successor. To be Catholic is to be unconditionally pro-life.  It is a scandal that Catholic politicians vote for bills which fund or otherwise advance abortion. They should be named, publicly shamed and admonished so that they can cease their evil and return to God.  (Teresa Miller- I would say this applies to all Christians not just Catholics.)

Anna Paulina Luna, whose real last name is Mayerhofer, has a clear and documented history of telling tall tales or just flat out lying.

Anna vs Kevin

Anna appears to be an unstable person:

Starting in high school  On Sept 5th, 2006 Anna filed a restraining order on a high school girl named Taylor Lyons, in Chico California.  Anna said Taylor attacked her and beat her up. Anna stated in the court documents “I am feeling terrified for my personal safety since this attack.” However, Anna did not show up for the court date and it was dismissed.

Cruz- Democrats Against Parental Rights Bill

The video appears to show state senators Loranne Ausley, Janette Cruz, Tina Scott Polsky, and Lori Berman singing “Gay, gay, gay, my daughter’s gay.”

On Election Integrity: SB 524- Should rename the bill voter intimidate and voter suppression… we aren’t protecting anything let me explain why I feel this way… if I need help with a law I go to a lawyer to get a legal opinion, if I am sick I go to a doctor… we know and trust them…we went to the people with experience… I went to those who I trust the supervisors of elections those who insure your vote counts… this is just not happening in the manner in which we are trying to scare people into thinking it is happening.

Kelli Stargel- Bills

Most recently Senator Stargel was the party sponsor for the 15 week reduction in abortion:

When I got pregnant at 17 Planned Parenthood said I would never be anything if I had my child.  Having my child was not a choice but a baby.  This bill is reasonable…not what I want because I believe life begins at conception.

And, one of the party spokespersons for the Parental Right bill:

If you are going to have this discussion (referencing sexual identity) you are going to include the parents … This bill is not intended to hurt students or out gay children but strengthen the family unit. This bill is saying we are making the parents part of this conversation.

No stalking order for rival in GOP candidate murder plot

There’s no evidence that Braddock, a former Marine, had such contacts in foreign organized crime or took any steps to carry out a murder plot. He did not testify in the civil stalking case and has not been charged with any crime.

His attorney, Kevin Hayslett, said Luna blew minor contacts with Braddock out of proportion and that, as a political candidate in such divisive times, she should expect some uncomfortable conversations.

Pedicini - Trojan Horse?

Anthony Pedicini - Trojan Horse?   (click on website title for more information)

How good is Republican political consultant Anthony Pedicini at what he does? Pedicini’s track record of winning Republican primaries has earned him a reputation-----a reputation for dirty politics (Google him).

But just how reliable is he during General Elections when it’s down to one Republican and one Democrat?

A quick analysis of his performance shows when it comes to General Elections - when Republicans really need to win - Anthony Pedicini has lost more races than he’s won.

Some are quietly whispering that Democrats are the real winners when running against Pedicini’s Republican clients.  Take for example, the Hillsborough Board of County Commissioners.

In 2018, Pedicini’s BOCC candidates lost in the General Election. Pedicini single handedly flipped the board to a democrat majority.

His Primary Election Wins

2018 Victor Crist, Hillsborough County Commission
2018 Todd Marks, Hillsborough County Commission
2018 Larry Ahern, Pinellas County Commission
2018 Joe Wicker, Florida House District 59
2018 Dana Young, Florida Senate District 18

Information on Strategic Image Management from their website - Pedicini’s Partner

In 2010, Piccolo helped develop winning messages and strategies for dozens of campaigns throughout Florida, including two significant victories in close seats, where TEA Party candidates were used to siphon Republican votes in swing districts to help Democrats retain or flip seats.

Joe Wicker, 2018 candidate for Florida House District 59 was pleased when Pedicini went nuclear with mailers against his Republican opponent, Ronda Storms during the primary. Wicker expected Pedicini to do the same during the General Election against his opponent, Democrat Andrew Learned, but Pedicini refused to use the same tactic on Learned. Wicker lost and Pedicini got another Democrat elected.

Pedicini-How Not To Get Elected In West Tampa

Guido Maniscalco celebrated a big victory over Jackie Toledo on Tuesday night. It was a big win for grassroots over money, Democrats over Republicans, blue collar over silk stockings, West Tampa over South Tampa and honesty over ugliness. Toledo Another setback for the LGBTQ community

“Protecting LGBT people from discrimination is a bipartisan issue,” Tampa Republican Rep. Jackie Toledo said when she filed the House bill in the fall. “This commonsense legislation is pro-business and would boost Florida’s economy.”

Toledo is one of 46 sponsors of the House bill (HB 161). And she is one of 10 Republicans supporting the measure.

“LGBTQ Floridians need protection in housing, employment and public accommodations,” said State Representative Jackie Toledo. “I’m honored to introduce this important legislation with a team of the most effective lawmakers in the process. Together we’re going to make Florida more competitive for top talent and business. And we’re going to ensure that no family is denied an opportunity because of who they are or who they love.”

Toledo- HB-482 Prohibit Discrimination

2019 Last Event: Died in Civil Justice Subcommittee on Friday, May 3, 2019 11:59 PM

From Florida Family Policy: Why we oppose- (TALKING POINTS)

This bill would allow men to use and access women's private and intimate spaces, including showers, locker rooms, dressing rooms, spas, and bathrooms in places of employment, YMCA, gyms, domestic violence shelters, summer camps, schools, etc.
This bill creates a new lawsuit for disgruntled employees to sue employers and small businesses for "claims of discrimination" by the LGBTQ population.
Similar bills have been used around the country as a weapon to punish creative professionals who are people of faith who wish to live and at in accordance sincerely help religious beliefs in commerce and business such as cake bakers, videographer, photographers, bed-an-breakfast owners, and other commercial vendors, who refused to provide their goods and services for the same-sex marriage ceremonies.

Those in favor of this bill claim that it is necessary for economic growth hence the name "Competivive Workforce Act." However, 10 out of 10 states rated to have the worse economic growth and economic outlook have statewide SOGI laws while 8 out of 10 states with the best economic growth/outlook do not have statewide SOGI laws.  THERE IS SIMPLY NO EVIDENCE THAT PASSAGE OF THIS BILL WOULD, IN FACT, STIMULATE THE ECONOMY.
Government should not enact laws which threaten the freedom of its citizens and require them to believe and act in a manner that violates their conscience under threat of punishment.  This bills is anti-liberty and anti-privacy.
In other words- what about the safety of women in the The Spring Shelters and other shelters, daycare workers, home daycare???

"Similar Bills"- HB- 479 Defines terms "gender identity" & "sexual orientation"; revises functions of Florida Commission on Human Relations; revises provisions regarding remedies for unlawful discrimination to include discrimination based on sexual orientation & gender identity in area of employment; adds sexual orientation & gender identity as impermissible grounds for discrimination with respect to specified unlawful employment practices; provides exception to specified provisions for constitutionally protected free exercise of religion.

Jackie Toledo seems to be misled and needs to better understand how this bill is anti-family, anti-child and anti-employer.. read her comments and information from Florida Family Association.

Jackie Toledo: June 9: In light of some of the comments made recently regarding the LGBT community, I think it is important to take a moment and remember those who were senselessly murdered in the Pulse shooting. It is so critical to remember that we are all human regardless of who we love. I am looking forward to the 2020 Legislative Session to continue supporting legislation similar to the Competitive Workforce Act.

Jackie Toledo:  "This past weekend I was given the opportunity to use a Bird Electric Scooter at the Ybor City Pride Parade. Bird's mission is to make cities more livable by reducing car usage, traffic, and carbon emissions. I also was able to show my support for HB 485 the Competitive Workforce Act; this act expands the 1992 Civil Rights Act to include nondiscrimination protections for sexual orientation and identity."

The worst bill in the Florida Legislature because it violates the dignity and privacy of women and children and Floridians’ First Amendment rights of free speech and freedom of association. It adds sexual orientation and gender identity or expression to Florida’s Civil Rights Act of 1992 as impermissible grounds for discrimination. This bill provides a new way for LGBT individuals to sue employers and small businesses for discrimination.  Would allow men access to use women’s showers, locker rooms, and bathrooms.

Toledo-HB 161- Prohibited Discrimination

OPPOSE: HB 161, Prohibited Discrimination, by Toledo (Prime-Cosponsor, Webb) /SB 206 by Rouson: This bill prohibits “discrimination” based on sexual orientation and gender identity in public lodging establishments and public food service establishments. It revises provisions of Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992 and the Fair Housing Act to include sexual orientation and gender identity. The bill also purports to provide an exception for constitutionally protected free exercise of religion. The “exception” reads, “This section does not limit the free exercise of religion guaranteed by the United States Constitution and the State Constitution.” Such an exception is vague and leaves business owners who have sincerely held religious or moral beliefs open to penalties. This bill would be especially onerous to people who own small businesses.

Neither of these bills were heard in any committees of reference this Session. THIS BAD BILL DID NOT PASS THIS SESSION.

Why RINO's Continue to Win

RINO- Republican in Name Only (not conservatives)

Republican Primary voter turn out is historically low.

This is how the Establishment RINOs win. They micro target the “Republican Super Voters” who reliably vote in every Primary. By making those specific voter contacts, the Establishment retains control of most elected offices.

Constitutional conservatives need to get their game on and know how to play.
