Florida Family Action (FFA) is the legislative arm of the Florida Family Policy Council.  FFA is a cultural action organization that is completely separate sister organization of the Florida Family Policy Council, legally.   It has been created by separating out of Florida Family Policy Council those major activities which constitute lobbying under the IRS code so that they can be expanded in scope.

My name is Rene Henry Gracida. I am a Roman Catholic bishop. I am Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Corpus Christi, having served as the Fifth Ordinary, or Diocesan Bishop, of that Diocese from May 19, 1983 until my retirement on April 1, 1997. The title of my Blog, Abyssus Abyssum Invocat is my episcopal motto and is taken from the 41/42/43 rd Psalm. It is translated “Deep is calling to Deep.” It expresses the thought contained in Saint Paul’s Second Letter to the Corinthians: “The Lord has said ‘My grace is enough for you; my power is at its best in weakness’, so I shall be very happy to make my weaknesses my special boasts so that the power of Christ may stay over me, and that is why I am quite content with my weaknesses, and with insults, hardships persecutions, and the agonies I go through for Christ’s sake. 

The American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP) is an organization of lay Catholic Americans concerned about the moral crisis shaking the remnants of Christian civilization. Its earliest origins date back to January 1971, when the first TFP members started to group around the publication Crusade for a Christian Civilization. My name is Fr. David Nix.  I was born and raised in the city of Denver. While premed at Boston College, I also worked as an EMT.  After graduation, I became a paramedic for the city and county of Denver in 2002.  Later, I did mission work and finally entered seminary.  In 2010, I was ordained a Catholic priest for my home diocese.  My passions include the missions, languages and the end of abortion and child-trafficking.  I have done missionary work in North America, South America, Africa, Europe and Asia.  In light of Pope Benedict XVI’s 2007 Summorum Pontificum, I have chosen the ancient use of the sacraments, including the Traditional Latin Mass and calendar.  I am currently on-loan to a diocese in Florida.

Even if further research makes the harm of same-sex parenting indisputable—which, to this social scientist, is virtually so already—don’t expect mainstream social science to accept it. Ideology has long-since replaced true scholarship there—they are blind followers masquerading as independent thinkers at the cutting edge. Also, don’t expect the CPS to start thinking that the damage caused to children by same-sex parenting—and certainly not the whole notion of same-sex parenting itself—qualifies as child maltreatment.
