Heritage, CRT Articles

Public school curricula have never been ideologically neutral. But with the advent of CRT, any attempt to maintain even a semblance of neutrality on controversial topics like race, sex, or gender has been abandoned.

Especially in these circumstances, therefore, the fact that public schools enjoy a monopoly on public educational funding is profoundly unjust, a violation of the fundamental right of parents to direct the education of their children.

Guido Maniscalco celebrated a big victory over Jackie Toledo on Tuesday night. It was a big win for grassroots over money, Democrats over Republicans, blue collar over silk stockings, West Tampa over South Tampa and honesty over ugliness. It also was a chance, once again, for a La Gaceta-endorsed candidate to beat a Tampa Tribune-backed one.

Vaccine, vaccine reaction

report released by the UK government has confirmed that 9 out of every 10 deaths related to COVID-19 are found in those who are fully vaccinated. Although the virus variant is the same and the UK approved only one different vaccine (AstraZeneca) from the United States, the data in the U.S. are different.

Vaccine

On March 11, 2022, CDC researchers released results of a small study in children 5 to 15 years old, who had received two doses of the Pfizer mRNA COVID vaccine. The study’s conclusion, which included many caveats, was that there was reduction of COVID disease in just 31% of children aged 5 to 11 years compared to 59% in children 12 to 15 years old.

Despite questionable disease risk reduction from their own data, the recommendation was that all children as young as 5 years old should get the vaccine.1

CV NEWS FEED // Senate Democrats failed to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA) in a 46-48 vote Monday. The bill needed 60 votes to break a GOP-led filibuster.

All Republicans voted no on the bill. Sen. Joe Manchin, D-WV, was the only Democrat to cross the party line and vote against it. Sen. Bob Casey, D-PA, voted yes, despite presenting himself for years as a pro-life Democrat.
